"Mentors"
The intent of this page is to: Maintain a list of members with significant cruising, racing and adventure training experience cross-referenced to geographical areas. The mentors who are all experienced sailors are prepared to answer questions and share their knowledge.
The forum will also facilitate the sharing of knowledge of recurrent activities such as the Fastnet down the generations.
Members with questions can contact the relevant mentor direct or seek the advice of RC (Regions) who can, if appropriate, set up an online Teams meeting.
Comments on suggestions for content or volunteers to be a mentor should be sent to RC(Regions), Col (Retd) Peter Davies, at regions@sappersailing.org or call 07990 631933.
The content of the spreadsheet is in draft but is open for use as it develops over the Winter 2025-26. Thereafter it will be updated each year to include input from the Yearbook.
It includes mentors who can offer advice on sailing with children and pets.
