Planning an Adventurous Training Expedition

The REYC Offshore Committee are available to provide planning support and guidance to unit sailing expeditions. This including advice on routes, weather and access to a database of qualified sailors. In the first instance, please email the RC(Offshore), on offshore@sappersailing.org to discuss requirements.

The Joint Service Adventurous Sail Training Centre (JSASTC) run an annual programme of expeditions on their fleet of offshore yachts which range in size from 34' to 72'. The Army Sailing Association and other Service Yacht Clubs offer yachts (at cost) which can be used for AT; details of these yachts are linked here: Army Sailing Association (ASA) (armysportcontrolboard.com)
