JOG Weymouth Race Provisional

Junior Offshore Group (JOG) Cowes - Weymouth race. Starting outside Cowes, the fleet heads down the Western Solent and out towards the Needles before turning westwards towards Weymouth. Despite being a more linear course, there are key tactical and navigational decisions to be made regarding route selection. The race finishes at the entrance to Weymouth, and is usually followed by a social event and prizegiving at one of the local yacht clubs.

The JOG Weymouth race is a great race for first-timers. On the Sunday morning the team will cruise back to Gosport, as there is no race back to Cowes.
