Offshore » Army Offshore Regatta
Army Offshore Regatta (Ex SOLENT VENTURE) is an event held between Gosport and Weymouth. Racing as part of the REYC team, you will either be on a Vic 34 or on Trojan (our J019), racing for the Dolphin Trophy which is the Inter-Corps trophy.
This event is classed as Military Duty, therefore you will be able to claim travel and CILOR will be granted to cover food costs. Personal contribution will cover fuel and berthing fees, and the REYC will be able to offset some of this cost. We can provide kit (oilskins and boots).
We are especially looking for soldiers to participate, and those that are novice crews, or skippers with limited racing experience. There is also a Cruising Class; if any REYC member is interested please let me know.
