2022 REYC Annual Dinner
This year's Annual Dinner will be held at Hornet Services Sailing Club, Gosport on Friday 23rd September 2022, as the culmination of the RE Sail Training Week. The Dinner will follow on from the AGM with a pay bar open from 19.00, sitting down to dinner at 19.30. Cost will include a three-course dinner, followed by tea/coffee and including half a bottle of wine and a glass of port per diner.
Starter - Chicken Liver Parfait, toasted brioche, balsamic glaze and red onion jam or Endive Salad, Poached pear, blue cheese, walnuts and soft leaf.
Main - Pan-seared supreme of chicken, market-fresh vegetables, sautéed potatoes and rosemary jus or Vegetable Roulade, sautéed potatoes and smoked tomato compote.
Pudding - Vanilla Panacotta with fruit compote.
Cost per head is £43.50, with a discounted rate of £22 available to serving members ranked Lieutenant and below.
Dress for the event will be 'jacket & tie' or ladies' equivalent.
Regrettably, no service accommodation is expected to be available. Members are requested to make their own accommodation arrangements with local Gosport establishments such as Premier Inn and Travelodge as well as other local hotels/ guest houses and B&Bs. Some onboard accommodation may be available by personal arrangement with skippers of yachts attending the event. The Hon Sec will attempt to match any requests with available berths.
Members may invite guests as usual, subject to places being available - full-price guest tickets only.
The closing date for receipt of bookings is Thursday 15th September and payment must be made by this date.
