2022 Annual General Meeting

The Constitutional Notice for AGM 22, including supporting documents and administrative detail, has been published on its own web page under the Governance menu item. This event page is for pre-registering attendance.

This year's AGM is intended to be focused on governance issues rather than verbal activity reports, starting at 1700. Non-member participants at the Sail Training Week ending that day will be welcome guests. Business will include re-validation of the decision at AGM 21 to enable virtual general meetings and balloting options. There will not be a virtual attendance option. Please pre-register by Wed 21 Sep.

Formal notice of the meeting and papers are intended to be published in early September. Dress will be as for the Dinner, or suitable after-sailing dress if not attending the Dinner. The AGM will be coordinated by the Board Secretary, Lt Col (Retd) Justin Lewis (board.secretary@sappersailing.org).

Car parking will be available on site (details tbc). No service accommodation is expected to be available. Hotel capacity within walking distance is limited, but greater quality or value exists a short drive away, eg Premier Inn, Travelodge etc. Members bringing yachts to RE Sail Training Week are encouraged to offer spare berths to others attending the AGM/Annual Dinner.
